The turn of the 21st century has been marked by dramatic changes in the political, social and environmental panorama, which are deeply affecting the way we live today: terrorism, migration and global warming and pandemia(s) are certainly the most pressing issues, and they are putting at risk our very life on this planet.
“Visual words” fanzine aims to discuss specific themes related to tourism, landscapes and local communities. Each number focuses on a word, which immediately evokes images that are common to the most thanks to (social) media.

The overall objective is to provide different reading tools for understanding contemporary cities’ phenomena: design and research projects, interviews, photographic reportage, documentaries, books, among others. Involving professionals and academics, Future Architecture platform’s members and institutions, the pais(vi)agem fanzine will follow a semi-structured contents’ scheme, which will integrate Augmented Reality features.
